This series of graphics, located centrally within the Chick Webb Recreation Center’s layout, was created to outline Chick Webb’s history, detailing his origins in Baltimore, Mayland and following his legacy as a jazz musician determined to see better resources for the people in his community. Importantly, the graphics synthesize Webb’s legacy and influence in opening the original recreation center in the late 1940s.
